The Battle of Aughrim Visitor Centre is open seasonally from May to September each year.

Opening Hours:

10.30am–4.30pm Tuesday–Saturday
2–5pm on Sundays
Last Admission: 4pm (Tuesday–Saturday) and 4.30pm on Sundays.

Admission:

  • Child under 12 years  €3.00
  • Adult €5.00
  • Family (2 adults and 2 children under 12 years of age) €15.00
  • Senior / Group / Student €4.00

How to get here

Location

The Battle of Aughrim Visitor Centre is located in the village of Aughrim between Ballinasloe and Loughrea (7 km from Ballinasloe and 22 km from Loughrea). If you are travelling from Galway City, it'll take just under 1 hour to arrive at the Centre.

Directions

Take Exit 15 off the M6 Dublin-Galway motorway. The follow signs for Aughrim or input Eircode H53 KH51 into Google Maps. Free parking is available at the Visitor Centre.
